Section 01
Eligibility and account opening
Credit accounts are available to approved customers of Hydro Depot at the sole discretion of management. To apply you must be an existing customer with a documented purchase history and provide full contact details including name, address, and mobile number.
Hydro Depot reserves the right to decline any credit account application without providing a reason.
Section 02
Credit limit
Each account holder is assigned a credit limit at account opening. The credit limit is the maximum outstanding balance permitted at any time.
- Purchases that would exceed your credit limit may be declined
- Hydro Depot may adjust your credit limit at any time
- A credit limit increase requires written management approval
Section 03
Payment terms
Account balances are due within 30 days of invoice date unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise.
Accepted payment methods
In store
Cash or card at our Tweed Heads South superstore. Balance cleared immediately.
Bank transfer
To the account details on your statement. Reference your name. Allow 1 business day to clear.
Online
Via your account dashboard at hydrodepot.com.au — coming soon.
Late payment
Accounts with balances outstanding beyond 60 days from invoice date are considered in arrears. Credit facilities may be suspended until the full balance is paid.
Section 04
Account keeping fee
A monthly account keeping fee applies to any credit account carrying a negative balance at the start of each calendar month. The fee is based on the opening balance on the 1st and added to your account for that month.

Changes to the fee schedule
Hydro Depot may amend the fee schedule at any time. Updated schedules are published on this page and communicated to account holders where contact details are available.
Section 05
Monthly statements
Monthly statements showing all transactions, the closing balance, and any fees applied are provided by email (where available) or on request in store. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current. Failure to receive a statement does not affect your obligation to pay.
Section 06
Account suspension and closure
Hydro Depot may suspend or close a credit account where the balance remains unpaid beyond 60 days, the credit limit is exceeded, or these terms are breached. During suspension, no further credit purchases may be made and the full balance is immediately due.
Section 07
Default and debt recovery
An account is in default if the balance remains unpaid beyond 60 days. In default, Hydro Depot may require immediate full payment, engage a debt collection agency, or take legal action. The account holder is responsible for all reasonable recovery costs including legal fees and collection agency charges.
Section 08
Disputed charges
If you believe a charge is incorrect, notify us in writing within 14 days of your statement date. We will investigate and respond within 7 business days. A disputed charge does not suspend your obligation to pay undisputed amounts.
Section 09
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in these terms limits any right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
